Our promise

The Fits-Your-Gear Guarantee

This whole site exists to take the "will it fit?" risk off your shoulders and put it on ours. Here's exactly what we promise — and, just as important, where we stop short, because a promise you can't trust is worse than none.

Two tiers, matched to our data

guaranteed fit

For a part where we've verified the full fit spec — VESA pattern, rated load and clamp range — against your monitor and desk in our database. If you gave us your gear, we said it's compatible, and it doesn't bolt on or hold, we pay the return shipping and refund you in full.

Currently 0 SKUs qualify. We won't attach this badge to a part whose fit we can't stand behind.

honest sizing

For everything else — the pieces whose fit we haven't fully verified against a device database. The price and description are exact, and if the sizing is genuinely wrong, a real person makes it right. What we don't do is dress an estimate up as a guarantee.

How the load promise works

When we say an arm class "holds" your monitor, we require its rated load to be at least your panel weight × 1.2 — a single, disclosed safety factor, because gas-spring ratings can be optimistic and a screen loaded near the max sags over months. A rating below that margin is called borderline, not "fits". If a maker overstates a load rating and a part fails within its stated spec, that's on us — return it.

The desk half nobody warns you about

Returns, plainly

30-day returns to a US address. On a guaranteed fit part that doesn't fit, return shipping is on us. On anything else, standard returns apply and we'll still help. Refunds are handled by a real person during our early launch — email support@rigandroute.com and we answer.

This page is the plain-English version of our return policy; it maps to structured hasMerchantReturnPolicy data on every product so machines can read the promise too.
